New developments offers stylish apartment living in Essex

28th November 2008, 07:08

For first-time buyers or those looking to purchase a home for children at university, now is the time to snap up a brand new apartment at Images or Invito, George Wimpey's stylish developments in Gant's Hill, Essex.

The contemporary homes offer excellent value for money when compared with second-hand properties available in the local area - with savings of around £10,000* to be made simply by buying brand new.

Studio apartments at Invito starting at just £139,995, for example, are the perfect choice for parents buying a place for children at university. Studios comprise a well-designed living room/bedroom, a spacious bathroom and a kitchen, while one-bedroom apartments are also available at the development and have a separate bedroom, with a balcony to selected plots.

Meanwhile, qualifying first-time buyers ‘going it alone' can take advantage of the Government's First-Time Buyer Initiative (FTBi) at Images - a low-interest loan covering up to 50% of the purchase price of selected properties, helping to reduce the mortgage value they need to secure without the need for a deposit, yet they will still own 100% of their home.

One-bedroom apartments at Images are available from £104,998 under FTBi, while two-bedroom designs start from £122,498.

Each home at the Images development features a spacious living/dining room with open-plan kitchen, while selected properties have balconies, and an en-suite to the master bedroom in addition to a main bathroom.

Invito and Images are ideally located in up-and-coming Gants Hill, with many apartments enjoying panoramic, balcony views over city landmarks, including the London Eye, the Gherkin and Canary Wharf.

Vibrant Gants Hill is home to a range of stores, cafes, restaurants and bars, while Ilford, just two miles away, offers an excellent shopping centre. For leisure, Fairlop Waters in nearby Barkingside is an ideal place for a round of golf, wind-surfing, angling, sailing or horse riding.

The developments are also just minutes from Gants Hill Underground Station, and only five stops from Stratford, ensuring purchasers are perfectly placed for Docklands, the City and for the 2012 Olympic Games.
