Hillary Clinton calls on George W. Bush to boycott the Beijing Olympics

7th April 2008, 19:07

In the USA, Democratic Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, not one to miss out on a politicial trick and shed the occasional crocodile tear to order, has called on George W. Bush to boycott the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics because of the violence in Tibet.

I'm surprised Hillary has had the time to make that recommendation to Bush to boycott the 2008 Beijing Olymic games what with her ducking all those bullets in the middle east

These types of comments from powerful American politicians always strike me as being very two faced considering the amount of damage the United States of America has caused to less poweful countries around the world and in the middle east such as Afghanistan and Iraq where hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed or injured for no good reason since the invasion and wars were started.

Makes me ask the question - just who are the warmongers and peacemakers in this world, and which countries and their politicians have made this world a far more dangerous place to live in? USA (President George W.Bush) and UK (Prime Minister Tony Blair) come top of my list. Bring on the war crimes tribunal and hang the pair of them.

Geoff: agreed. I think shes just trying to narrow the gap between her and the competition.

What angers me is America has hardly any relationship with Tibet yet they think they have the right to call a boycott on beijing. If America has oil fields in Tibet then I could understand. haha

Hi christov84,

Good to see you back on the forum again, and what a thread for you to post on! I ought to mention that since making this comment, Hillary is now up for nuking Iran, so nothing has changed in the art of carefully considered political diplomacy by the USA!

God bless America - more like God help us all if she actually makes it to the White House!

As to Iraq and oil fields, take a look at this video on YouTube entitled 'Bremner, Bird, and Fortune: George Parr (Iraq oil)' which is an interview with 'George Parr' (a fictional character stating real facts) shown in 2007 during Bremner, Bird, and Fortune.

The interview features information on Iraq and its vast oil reserves, now of course all under strict and direct control of the USA.

My goodness, George W. Bush is a genius

christov84, surely you don't think votes are influencing the comments made by Hillary

As to oil reserves,I wouldn't be in the least bit suprised if China and Tibet have huge oil reserves.

Going back to the nuke Iran comment made by Hillary, this has to be rated as one of the most silly and childish comments I've ever heard made by any politician anywhere in the world. Would you really trust her to look after your kids let alone the whole of the USA??? The only thing missing from her speech were the crocodile tears

I would like to know why shouldn't Iran go nuclear when France, China, UK, USA and many other countries are developing nuclear as a viable replacement fuel source to oil, coal and gas? Iran needs to generate energy on a large scale for its people; They know what will happen to their country and the people if they develop and launch a nuclear weapon against any other country.

I've not watched this Bremner, Bird & Fortune video for some time but you just have to hand it to this team to make us realise in a quite straight-forward manner just what is going on in the minds of the politicians.

As for the comment "My goodness, George W. Bush is a genius" said in jest, you have to hand it to Bremner & his team for these true classic comments.
