First off, thanks for taking the time to visit this, our 'unofficial' London 2012 Olympics forum.

Please feel free to view, have a laugh, or post on anything good or bad that you consider needs to be read about.

We are aiming to keep this site firmly focused on the London 2012 Olympic games along with interesting information on other past and future Olympic events, plus other major sporty news issues which may be of interest to you.

Our goal is to post relevant Olympics information as soon as possible to you with no pop-ups, pop-unders, unwanted flash adverts, or any other stealth methods so prevalent on many other apparently genuine sites.

Why - Well because we are totally fed up with ADVERTS, pop-ups, and pop-unders launching themselves, without any invitation onto our screens - Where did common courtesy and manners go!

SO, HOW TO USE OUR 'UNOFFICIAL' LONDON 2012 OLYMPICS SITE

From the main page you can go directly to view the most recent posts by clicking on the central links, or if you want to see all the forums will notice a menu bar at the top of the screen, the first button changes between Forum and Home, this is the button you can use to view all the forums.

HINT: Please note the 'Search' button in the top menu bar, this is a very powerful tool if you are looking for particular key words, I use this facility quite a lot!

You will need to register if you wish to post replies or start new threads. You can start threads in any category apart from 'News & Announcements', though you may reply to any threads already started in this section.

Click on the link on the forum you are interested in and you will be taken to that forum, from there you can click on any post you wish to read or reply to.

To reply to a post simply click the REPLY button, type out your message, then click on either PREVIEW POST to see how it will look to check for typo errors, or click on SUBMIT NEW THREAD.

You have time to change, amend, adjust, or delete the posts you make, and if all else fails you can always contact us using the 'contact us' link shown at the bottom of all pages.

We are not some kind of multi-million £££ uncaring global business, instead, we are just a very dedicated team of UK based 2012 London Olympic enthusiasts.

The more interesting the subject, the more interesting the site will become, and this can only be achieved by your help and assistance in posting many items of interest.
