How to post images on our UNOFFICIAL London 2012 Olympics forum

15th August 2005, 17:55

As a registered user on our UNOFFICIAL London 2012 Olympics forum you can post up to 10 photos to accompany any post or thread you make.

Here's how to add your photos, and it's very easy to do....Honest!

1st step is to type out your Title and Message content, and don't click on the Submit or preview buttons yet.

Below this box you will see another box entitled 'additional options', ignore the 'Miscellaneous Options' and look at the 'Attach Files' option.

Click on 'Manage attachments' then click on 'Browse'

From this point you are looking at the contents of your own computer so you need to browse until you find the image you are looking for.

Once you find the image on your PC click on it, then click 'open'.

Repeat this process until you have selected up to 10 images.

Next, click on 'upload' which will upload your image/s onto our server.

From the next page you have the option to 'Remove' the file or click on 'Click to close this window'

If you click 'Remove' the file will be removed.

Click 'Preview Post', to preview your post and correct any typo errors, etc. Note that 'Preview Post' will NOT display your image/s, it is just for checking the text content.

If you click 'Close this window' at this stage your image will remain on our server and you will be returned to the main page.

Finally, if you click on 'Submit new thread' your post along with the image/s will be displayed for all to see on the forum

I appreciate that this looks difficult, but it's not, and it's a lot easier and faster than trying to type out the procedure on a keyboard.
