Here's a very interesting restaurant and microbrewery based in Blackheath called ZERODEGREES which I was lucky enough to visit a few months ago with friends.
And from their official website the following very useful information:
ZERODEGREES is proud to be part of the emerging popularity of fresh beers brewed by the micro breweries. British beer drinkers are realising that there is a world of beer to explore. It is not just the variety that is important, freshness, quality and flavour are what differentiates ZERODEGREES from that of the filtered and pasteurised beer of the big industrial breweries. The yeast are left alive in our beer, to mature and compliment the flavour of the beer. Also, we do not add any artificial colouring or sweeteners to our beer.
At ZERODEGREES we strive to serve you some of the freshest and most flavourable beer around. We also serve the finest Gourmet Pizzas using our Traditional Woodfired oven, Mussels served in a variety of exquisite sauces, mouth-watering Salads, and Gourmet Sausages. To accompany all this we offer a wide selection of the finest wines from around the world, champagnes, spirits, liqueurs, and of course plenty of handcrafted beers.
