The Sport Industry will present an insight into the future for the UK sport industry following the IOC's decision to award the 2012 Games to London.

'The Sport Industry - Where to Next?' seminar, in association with Jobswithballs.com, will address these relevant issues and provide an invaluable glimpse into the future of our industry.

Following an afternoon of education and discussion, the Sport Industry will be hosting a party in celebration of London winning the bid.

The inaugural Sport Industry seminar will be held on October 20 at the Mermaid Conference Centre from 2pm, featuring top names in the industry, including:

Philip Beard - commercial director, LOCOG

“Have I got bid news for you!”

Steve Cumming – head of sponsorship at Coca-Cola GB

“Putting the fizz into the sponsorship romance”

Marcel Knobil – chairman of Creative and Commercial

“Are sports brands running out of breath”

Jonathan Marks – managing director, MTC

“From potential to medallist – Guiding brands through the endorsement lottery”

Stuart Higgins – managing director, Stuart Higgins Communications

PR and the media – A perfect marriage or ugly divorce?”

René Carayol - The UK's business guru and leading business speaker

PR, marketing, sponsorship and management agencies, governing bodies, sports brands, professional service firms and educational institutions have confirmed their attendance.

The The Sport Industry Party is from 6pm - 9pm and the cost of the event is £150 plus VAT.
