More plaudits for London 2012

London 2012's successful Bid campaign has been recognised with another series of awards. The London 2012 logo won 'Best International Brand' in the 2005 International Business Awards.
The citation read: "The London 2012 brand captured the essence of London and its bid to stage the Games.
"The brand has gained recognition around the world."
The Bid team also received recognition for their communications campaign - being named as Communicators of the Year by the British Association of Communicators in Business (CIB).
The National CIB Chair Nick Andrews said the campaign "used the plethora of modern media available to make sure that London's merits were communicated to International Olympic Committee members across the globe."
The research behind the campaign has also been recognised with an award for Research Client of the Year at the Excellence & Effectiveness Awards organised by the Market Research Society.
Finally, the London 2012 website was honoured for its 'incredible' search engine optimisation programme.
The judges said: "with very little budget, the inventive approach to click generation through partner sites delivered incredible results."
